The Costa Rican Star is one of four C Class reefer vessels currently operating on the West Africa to North Europe fresh fruits trade lane. Built in 1997 and sailing under the Liberian flag, she underwent a major lengthening rebuild in 2013, which added an extra container hold and three pallet side loaders—enhancing her operational capacity and versatility. Purpose-built for temperature-sensitive cargo, the Costa Rican Star continues to deliver reliable performance across key refrigerated trade routes.
